I set up my twitter account a couple of days ago, I tried a couple of tweets and I have to say it was fun! I had a concern when I first set up my account...when I clicked the set up button I was immediately followed by someone who I did not know, I know it is social media and we don't always know who views our tweets but, the tweets from that person were a little racy. I was able to go back and figure out how to block that person from following me and have other people request to follow me. So, I guess that is one of the things to consider when using twitter with students.

Nice job figuring out the blocking! I am not a fan of privatizing settings in library blogs, but rather doing what you already are - keeping an eye on who is connecting with you and making sure you are aware of what is going on. Well done!
